Trzy wodne boginki rzeki Cybiny przebiegają przez Jezioro Malta w Poznaniu, barwiąc fale białą pianą. Zimne słonce przygląda się tej scenie.

At Malta Lake, where once there was a river which now flows hidden, the wind blows constantly rattling the leaves in the poplars and pumping a vibrant energy throughout the whole area. In the summer mortals swim there too.
(The white figures of the bathing women, emphasised with rough black outlines, fill the picture with turbulence and movement. The bathers' partly deconstructed heads, fitted into a shared geometry with the sky above them, would disappear were it not for the colour of their lips which calls attention to them like the red warning lights on a tall building.)

Nad jeziorem Malta, tam, gdzie kiedyś była rzeka, płynąca teraz podziemnym strumieniem, wiatr wieje nieustannie, poruszając liśćmi topoli i napełniając otoczenie wibrującą energią. Latem, śmiertelnicy też się tu kąpią. (Białe postaci kąpiących się kobiet, podkreślone przez czarne kontury, tchną w obraz ruch i niepokój. Częściowo niekompletne głowy kąpiących się, wpisujące się geometrycznie w niebo nad nimi, zniknęłyby, gdyby nie kolor ich ust, przyciągający uwagę niczym czerwone światła ostrzegawcze na wysokim budynku.)
