On a stormy night witches celebrate, dancing naked amongst dark crags and wind- tossed foliage. They bear ceremonial objects, a shirt, a belt and an alpenstock. In the background a man in hunter's outfit watches.

Sabat czarownic podczas burzowej nocy, wiedźmy tańczą nago pośród ciemnych skał i rozrzuconej wiatrem roślinności. Mają ze sobą rytualne przedmioty: koszulę, pasek i laskę. W tle, mężczyzna w stroju myśliwskim obserwuje tę scenę.

After trying to emulate Robin Hood for some years I discovered that I had been robbing the poor to feed the rich very successfully. This is what happens when you hold the book upside down. (Sombre but vivid colours on a dark background, the chalky naked figures stand out starkly against the orange swirl of hair and foliage as they tread the moss and lichens of the forest floor. The painting is all movement save for the still corner where the hunter stands watching.)

Po wieloletnich próbach wcielania się w Robin Hooda odkryłem, że z dużym powodzeniem okradam biednych, by wzbogacić bogatych. Takie są efekty trzymania książki do góry nogami. (Ponure, choć wyraźne kolory na ciemnym tle, kredowo nagie postaci wybijają się spośród pomarańczowego kłębu włosów i liści, tratując mech i porosty na leśnym podłożu. Cały obraz wyraża ruch, z wyjątkiem nieruchomego fragmentu w rogu, gdzie myśliwy stoi i obserwuje.)
